First Of All Select An Image With Which You Want To Replace The Default Icon Of The USB Drive…

Remember, Your Selected Image Should Be In *.ico Format (.ico is the format of icon images)…

If You Don’t Have The “.ico” Format Of Your Selected Image, 

Don’t Worry… Just Create Or Convert Your Selected Image Into .ico Format Using Convertors Like “Format Factory”.

Your Can Also Change The Format By Simply Editing The Image In MS Paint And “Save As” In .ico Format.

Once You Have The Image Of “.ico” Format You Can Proceed Further….

We Are Going To Use This Icon As Our USB Drive’s Icon…

Ok, Now Plug - In Your USB Pen drive In Your Computer Or Laptop And Follow These Steps…

First Of All Quick Format Your USB Drive And Then Proceed.

STEP 1 : Open Your USB Drive After Formatting it Completely.

STEP 2 : Copy Your Icon Image And Paste It To The Root Of Your USB Drive i.e Do Not Paste It In Any Folder.

Drag And Drop The Icon Image In The USB Drive Like This,

STEP 3 : Now, Create A New Text Document By Right Click of The Mouse, Then >> ‘New’, and Then >> ‘Text Document’.

STEP 4 : Rename The Text Document with “autorun.inf” (without  “ ”).

STEP 5 : After That, Open The Text Document And Type The Following 3 lines Contents In That…

[autorun]

label=New Name Of Your Drive

icon=name of your icon.ico

After That, Save As Your Document  and Give it 'autorun.inf' Name (Without Quotes).

 Now You Will Get The Two Files Of The Same Name 'autorun.inf'. Go With The New File, The One... Which Is Having A Gear Shape Icon And Delete The Previous One. 

You Can Also Hide These File By Simple Check The Hidden Option In The Properties...

That's All, Your Are Done With All Steps... Eject Your Drive And Plug In Again....
